Default Autel Autolink AL619 issues

I am having two issues. First it will not read my VIN and second it will not clear ABS codes. I can read codes but not clear them. I called the company over a month ago and told them about these issues. They said they would pass it along to engineering. Has anybody else had either of these issues with their Autolink code reader?

Did you update it before using it?

I have one of those. I had to register it online and download the database to the Micro SD card first before using it.

Yeah, It has been registered and software downloaded to the micro SD card. It says it is up to date.

Just got one of these. I'm assuming you figured out the problem. But, for future owners, here's how I fixed the update issue. When I used the newest version of the software, it said there were no updates needed. However, when I installed an older version of the upate software (from the CD), the software found all of the updates I needed (and the missing LR software).

Brian, and anyone else who'd like to rent a scanner,

I'm happy to rent mine out. Rental cost is $30. This is how I propose the deal going down for any interested parties:

1. The renter sends $160 to me. I send the device (I'll pay for shipping from me to you).
2. Renter returns device in good condition (renter pays shipping back).
3. I return $130 (Depost, minus rental fee).

Please let me know if you're interested. I used this scanner to kick my amigos to the curb! 3 months amigos free!
