Auxiliary Fan / Condenser Question

Are there any hacks to get it on around 180? I reached 221 already and the fan did not turn on. Its warmer today around 80's. I guess its part of the air conditioning system but where is the temperature sensor switch located? Can that be tapped in the cooling system instead? If driving, is the fan against the wind?

Right at 210 degrees F the AUX fan should start up.
If it is cold out and your Aux fan is running, you got trouble.
Only way I fixed it was the trifecta.
Replace radiator with new one from Rock Auto - a new Nissans
Replace theromstat with grey one - 180 degree from Land Rover. Never a motorrad.
Replace fan clutch with new Hayden fan clutch.
Bleed it all out.
Your are set.

If you want it to run cooler get a LR Genuine 180F Grey Thermostat, and test the Efan and replace it if it's INOP/DEAD. Also since it's an 03/04 you might consider dumping the one piece Fan Blade/Clutch for an earlier 99-02 two piece unit. Then you can slap in a new Fan Clutch for 55.00 vs the entire 03/04 Assembly for 260.00.

Aux fan runs with leads, fuse ok, ? relay
Fan spins freely when off.
#5 fuse looks good
Used leads with alligator clips to battery and runs fan.
Could it be a bad relay plug in the fuse box? Or bad temp sensor?
I never hear the aux fan run.
A while back I was parked idling while waiting for someone. AC running and then temp started to climb. Turned heat up and started driving temp went back down.
AC compressor was just replaced. Could it be the AC condenser or something else causing temp to spike beyond D2’s ability to efficiently cool the engine?
I have the lower owed thermostat. Temp hasn’t gone beyond without AC running, but after driving around the Aux doesn’t come on when driving or after parking.
