Default Awesome discoII, not the rims i want...

Just purchased a disco II with 120k miles. checking all the 60k stuff now, but does anyone know if someone out there has stock rims for a disco laying around they want to get rid of? i have a set of 20's chrome structure aftermarket rims, and there is no way i can 4x4 with them on. plus, they make turning EXTREEMLY hard. i would be willing to trade, or pick up if you are close. i am in south eastern PA. please let me know as i REALLY want to take this into my uncles 98 acres of woods......i will post pictures in a few. just gotta take them

I am also looking for a good bumper/winch combo, and wondered if there is somewhere that you can order, or would i be better having one manufactured? i live in amish country, and there are alot of metal fab places that can do it cheap here.

Donate those 20s to some Amish fellow to put on his buggy, then get some 16" wheels. Search craigslist and wrecking yards, ebay etc.
There are many companies that make winch bumpers, they go for $400 to $1200.
Lucky8 is one place to look at http://lucky8llc.com/Index.asp

there are some people on this forum that don't off road their trucks do a search for rims and you might find a few threads of people loking for big useless chrome rims liek the ones you have.

Where are you located. There is a guy in northern Va on Craigslit with a set of stock 16's powder coated black with tires for $400.

Get a hold of Randy www.usedlandroverparts.com
He is in Elizabethtown and hes a great guy to deal with. I have also been thinking of finding a local Amish welding shop to make me a bumper just havent got around to it yet.
