backfeeding

I have an '03 disco that I hope to tow behind my motorhome. As for engaging the tail, brake and turn signal lights on the Landy while being towed, I hope to purchase these two products:
1.http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/9439C.cfm
2. http://www.etrailer.com/Tow-Bar-Wiring/Roadmaster/RM-154.html
Curious to determine if I'll be ok with the wiring and if I should be concerned about any backfeeding. My motorhome is a straight 4 pin set-up. I'll be using an aux braking system as well in the Landy.
I'll have to turn the ignition switch on the Disco to the "II" position when being towed and to prevent battery drain on the Landy, I'll be using one of these:

Any concerns? Other suggestions?
Thanks,
Rob

The D2 alarm computer can be tripped to immobilize the vehicle (prevent cranking). This happens a lot to guys that have a dead battery when truck is armed, open hood, jump off, alarm wakes up and believes truck is under attack. Unplug hood alarm switch avoids a lot of that.
10 amps of float charge may not be enough. In position 2 the ECU has powered up the main relay, all the sensors, various modules, etc. Fuel pump times out in 2-3 seconds. You may want to measure the amp drain to be sure on the battery without engine running.
Please posts pix of you work and the finished product, this question (flat towing) comes up pretty often.

Where can I find the hood alarm switch?
What's your take of complete battery drain if towing for a period of 4 hours while the ignition switch is on the "II" position? Enough to still fire up the Disco?
Will do on the photos if I pull the trigger and go this route. I just might end up mounting trailer lights on my bike rack, hooked up to the Landy. Still would have battery drain to contend with.
