Bank 1 is the left side.

You are correct!. I was just going to send you another post to state "as viewed from the back of the vehicle", or stated another way, on left-hand steering vehicles, the left-bank is on the drivers side. All of this because some bloke online once wanted to actually argue with me that the description should be stated in reference to standing in the front of the vehicle. Jeez!..... I think I ended it by saying " So...your left hand turns into your right hand if you are walking backwards?"
