Got my replacement Alternator out of a local junkyard for 50 bucks back in 2010. Put it on myself in about 30 minutes. That was one of my first repairs I made on the rover and remember loosening one the nuts on the alternator wires and worrying about dropping it when it got all the way loose, then when I got it all the off I saw that the nut was actually captured inside the end of the wire so that you cannot loose it. I was like "Look at that engineering! Why doesn't every car company do stuff like this!" Love me some Land Rover!

All things said and done, there are moments where I hate this car and want it to burn. Then there are the proud moments when you stop and just look at it swoop the jeeps and hummers on the trail with style.

Just reaffirms my belief that i need 2 discos. I mean..
They can't both be broken at the same time.

Thanks again for all the help everyone.
