Yes, you will need 8 spark plugs which you should be able to find locally. The wires you'll more than likely need to order. If you have a shop do the install they will probably take the intake manifold off which will need a new gasket, which is why it is listed with the wires and plugs from the link I posted. It might be easier to just order the wires, plugs and gasket at the same time and take them with you to a mechanic. Cerrone's is great about getting them out that day if you order early enough.

I know Accell use to make a Spiral core wound wire corewith 8MM shielding that is cery simularto the Magnacores for a fraction of the price. You will have to build them (cut and install ends) but it is not that bad of a job. As far as the plugs go... Stick with what runs best in them.... second best really isnt in the case of the plugs.

Do I need just one gasket or will I need two???
I ordered one already. I need to get my car fixed by this weekend, but if I need two then I probably will have to go for a plan B to get to a wedding in Tucson.

I believe that you only need one gaskey Annie. You can do the job without removing the intake plenum but it is harder to do, but it can be done.

I was just reading about that the replacement can be done without removing the gasket, but then I came across something about Secondary Air.

How do I know if I have that? From the posts I read, if you have Secondary Air you HAVE to remove the gasket.

I do not know if you have to remove the secondary air or not.
Somebody who does know will chime in.

Look for a pump on the passenger side of the firewall. If there's a big empty section you do not have SAI. If you do have SAI, it is still possible to do the wire replacement without removing the intake plenum. Here are the instructions. Let us know how it works out and if your hands are small enough to get to the coil pack.

FYI..I have the plugs (Bosch +4) but the wires keep getting stuck with Fed Ex. They were supposed to be here Thursday, then they kicked it back to Friday. NOW they are stuck in Yuma and won't be here until Monday.

Tony was so cool...I emailed him regarding the gasket and he took it off and refunded my card the difference within the hour!

It makes me sad to look at my truck sitting outside, not having driven it in almost a week. [sm=boohoo.gif]

Only a week? I wish I had driven my truck in the last two weeks.
