I saw this on a Land Cruiser - if you have a winch its really good - it had a sticker on the bumper that said attach Jeep here with an arrow pointing to the winch hook!

Jeep is a four letter word that should not be spoken in civilized company - or anywhere else.

Jeeps have their place off road, parked at the bottom of the hill watching.

But picture this phrase upside down. It is in referance to the "if you can read this flip me over"

 

What's with all this antiJeep BS? Is it arrogance, low self esteem, or just nearsighted nastiness? I am a proud Land Rover owner and love my D1 but I am not antiJeep, Toyota, or any other 4x4. The sport of 4 wheeling is under fire with trails being closed everywhere by the arrogant lock-everything-up Urban Greenie crowd. We all have to hang together or 4 wheeling may vanish not berate each other mindlessly. I love my D1 but am proud that America builds an Icon such as Jeep which is a brand known around the world. America does not build many automotive Icons. We mainly build dull, boring vehicles laughed at by the rest of the world. Whether you like it or not Jeeps are great offroad vehicles that are definitely cheaper and easier to maintain than our LR's. Jeeps make better financial sense too as the bottom does not fall out of their used value like it does with LR's. Where I live used Wranglers cost an arm and a leg. I run with Jeeps a lot more than I do LR's. I belong to a Jeep club and they are great people with great rigs. I have been to the Moab Easter Jeep Safari which is not limited to Jeeps only and will go again this year. I love seeing all the different rigs and running with them especially when I'm the only LR in the bunch. They learn to respect my D1's capabilities pretty fast. All 4x4 owners need to hang together especially now that our sport is under so much intense fire or all our rigs may someday just be highway cruisers be they LR's or Jeeps.

 

I agree with that. I think most of its just joking around. I know it is on my part! My best friend is a Jeep owner and we go wheeling all the time. But at the same time we joke about our cars when they get stuck or something. You are spot on about the Urban Greenie crowd, we are having major issues with them here in NC. There might be a select few on here who dont respect anything but LRs but most of us respect anything that can wheel with the best of em'!
