Default Best Bang for the Money & most fun

I think the best money I have spent was on Seafoam
and stainless steel brake lines.

The most fun parts that I have spent money on are Old Man
Emu and my Snorkel.

The snorkel is just fun to have people flag me down to ask about it and then turn to the person they are with and say see I told you so,,,,,and it sounds good when I mash on the GO pedal.

I konw that there other things but thats on the top of my list now.

One of my favorites is what I did today. Get the front seat to travel back an extra 5 inches from stock, which is a big deal when you're 6'5" in a LR.

Best for the money, hmmm... Maybe the '04 CDL linkage.

Snokrel would be nice, but not really needed right now.

I ran a can of Seafoam through my 97 D1 and it seemed that the truck run quieter immediately. Have only done short trips around town so no idea if it effected my mileage or not.

Also added a Sirius radio to the trucks. Got to have tunes.

Next step is new plugs and wires. If I can afford it I'll throw a new Optima battery in while I'm doing the tune up. Just bought my Disco about 2 months so I'm in the process fixing all the little things that are wrong with it, which is not much.

Disco2Guy - how did you shift the driver's seat back from stock? I am 6'4" and it would be great to do this.

Another NCLR club member did it to his powered seat and I just followed his write-up. For some reason the pics don't load on that page so here is the index page of them. If you have a manual seat you can try this write-up.

I do have an issue of the seat binding somewhere so it doesn't travel to and fro. It still moves with all the other controls tough. When I get it back from the stealership (windshield replacement) I'm going to go to the aurthor's house and we'll take a look at it if I can't figure it out.
