Default best place to get thermo to water pump hose

Need some advice. My thermostat to water pump hose is leaking pretty bad. It looks like right where the hose goes into the water pump, the hose is like a sponge and just drips and drips. Very steady stream.

Looking to get a new one. Where is the best place to get these?

Part PEH000080G. I looked on the usual, atlanticbritish ($85), bputah (78), and ebay. Saw some on ebay for as low as $50. Are these ok to install? Or are there inferior quality hoses that I should stay away from?

Thanks in advance for your help.

PS The drip will drain about 1/2 gallon of coolant in less than an hour. Stopped driving it immediately when noticed the coolant loss. Never overheated, watch my UG like hawk. When I refilled with coolant and turned it over, it takes about 2-3 minutes for the leak to start, and then once I turn if off, it continues for a bit, but eventually stops.

Those hoses aren't terrible but the factory OEM hoses tend to last the longest.

At your mileage you should replace all your hoses. Have you ever replaced the upper hose to the newer style, if not just another reason to replace them all.

Hey mike I'm not sure if I have the newer style or older style. I was thinking about replacing them all with the AB hose kit ($188). How can I tell if I have the newer or older? Is AB a good place to get that kit?

The newer style upper hose has the bleed screw located at the plastic tee fitting while the older style hose has the bleed screw located on the hose.

Thanks everyone. I will be purchasing the AB hose kit and putting it in very soon. I believe the current hoses are the old style and probably need to be replaced.

PS Can anyone attest to the quality of the AB hose kit? Is it a genuine LR part?

The majority of the hoses in the kit are genuine. I installed the kit almost two years ago and have not had any problems.

Thanks everyone. I will be putting that hose kit in this weekend assuming AB has that hose kit in their Sparks wharehouse.

They are not bad from AB. However, on my DI I have found that LR dealer hoses tend to last somewhat longer.. In particular the upper radiator hose starts to weep at the ends. You can tighten the clamp but it still oozes.
