The only place in the bonnet area is where I would like to put an aux battery some time in the future, so not there. There is the location where the standard rear suspension compressor is, but although I do not have that anymore (converted mine to coil), i think it is too much exposed... any other location, without loosing too much luggage space?
hmmm, i gues that is the most logical place.... i was hoping there is somewhere so that I could save the space for other stuff. in some cases i have seen compressors installed under a seat, but d2 has the electric seats, not sure if you could fit anything there

I’ve seen an ARB air compressor mounted under the D2 passenger seat with the CD Changer removed, I’ve also seen them mounted on the passenger bulkhead where on a non SAI D2 nothing is mounted

Make a riser on the floor in the back, stick it in there with a divider or drawers for other stuff? It'll need air circulation to keep from overheating too.

I’m interested in this as well , theoretically could I fab up a box to hold the compressor in the engine bay where the jack goes and run the lines under the truck and mount a auxiliary tank where the sls pump should be then add the air connector in the same place as this picture

I made some bracketry & removed my jump seat.
utilized mounting hardware for seats- worked out quite well. And still have opposite side for storage.

I don't want to start a new thread on this so I'll ask here. I have a single piston compressor mounted in the back inside that vent area for lockers. I also have a CO2 tank mounted on the same side where I removed the OE cubby box thing. I put some wood strips behind the trim to screw into to hold the bracket for the tank. I decided recently to purchase an ARB dual air compressor. I want to use it for the lockers and airing up and get rid of the CO2 tank. I don't think there's enough room to put it where the current single compressor is so I'm thinking I will put it in place of the tank. Thoughts?
