Default Best price on water pump?

It looks like I might be needing a water pump ASAP. Who has the best price? So far I've found

AB = $180
autohausaz = $131 with free s/h
british parts of Utah = $89

Be sure to get a genuine Land Rover water pump.

mike, thanks for the link!

lipadj, there's a huge difference in OEM price and after market price. Have you had a bad experience with non-OEM rover water pumps? I find they worked just fine on my bmw, as long as it's a company that makes quality parts.

Yes there have been many bad reports about the proline water pumps failing. Also I do not consider $80 (more for the genuine pump) a huge price to pay for critical part like a water pump. Also as you probably have figured out there are not as many companies making parts for discoveries so you don't have the competition like say your BMW to drive the quality up and prices down.

Buy the OEM part from Atlantic British, I bought an aftermarket from British Pacific, 8000 miles and about 13 months later it was leaking like a sieve. The $50 difference in price is not worth the hassle of the labor to replace the dang thing or the risk of breaking down. AB has a sale going recently, I think that I paid $144 for mine about 6 weeks ago. Phil

carpartsdiscount.com

"Availability: Usually ships in 1 to 2 months. International orders may take up to an additional week to process."

whoa, is that a misprint?
