best road trip sign/paperwork
ok, so it is kinda common knowledge that i just made 2 cross country trips in the last 2 weeks. (ft lewis WA to Indiana and back)
while stopping at some random no-tell motel in SD i saw the following sign at the hotel check in/out desk:
ATTENTION HUNTERS: ABSOLUTELY no cleaning of game animals in the bath tub! ABSOLUTE limit of 3 dogs per room and no dogs are allowed on the beds!
that is the funniest sign i have ever seen while on the road.
can you beat that?

RE: best road trip sign/paperwork
you guys laugh, but when i was on a job just south of chicago in 06 there were some geese that always hung out in the little field across the parking lot at our hotel... somehow my dad lured one of them into his room, slammed the door shut, fought the bird to the death, and then cleaned it in the bathtub and cooked it... my dad is old school... he will kill and eat anything... me, i draw the line somewhere...

RE: best road trip sign/paperwork
i wish i had some... on that same job me and he had been drinkin a little the night before we left to drive up there and we got the bright idea to go catch 2 small alligators and bring them in the car with us when we drove up there the next day to mess with the guys we were workin for... so we caught 2 of them one about 2 1/2 feet and the other a little over three, stuck them in a small dog travel kennel, put them into the back of the suburban i was driving and hit the road... when we brought those things over to the house of the guy we worked for one day after work they freaked out... ended up cooking those too... u guys may think i am making this up but i kid you not my friends... those i think i can track down some pictures of...
