inspection mirror would show you. its on passenger side. if you reach up there, it will feel like a little threaded stud with a tab on it.

yes you can... you will have to feel for it though. I just didn't think to do it cuz I didn't think it wouldn't be there. It will be on the top/front of the transfer case. Reach up (on the driver side of the drive shaft) on the front transfer case and you should feel a flat part of the case with 3 bolts in a triangle pattern with 1 bolt in the center. the one in the center is the actual CDL actuator. it would be better if you watch a video of the CDL install so you know exactly what you are feeling for.

Here is a link of how I found out my D2 would (or should have) have a CDL

If you only feel a flat surface with no bolts... Your 01 Disco 2 doesn't have the locker. If it does and you don't use it... I'll trade you. =)

Just saw Dusty's (bubbles) reply to you. A mirror would work best if you have one.

I started my reply before his was there and had to leave for a while. finished when I got home and his was there. lol
