Default Bilstein shock pricing

I see Roversnorth has the 4-shock set (RNA6046-7) for $399, and the steering damper for another 90 bucks. Should I expect to beat that by much?

Seems to me I remember someone saying mid-600s on here for a shock set about 3 months ago...

Bilstein usually runs a special in April or May where they do "Buy 3, get 1 Free" I got 4 Bilstein 5100's for my Land Cruiser for under $300 with shipping.

Keep an eye out.

With your mileage, you need springs and shocks. Consider buying a OME set from Lucky 8, including coils, shocks and a steering stabilizer for $700 ish, you will be better off and have a better shock.

I see 2 and 3 inch lift sets from them, Mike, but no factory height kits. You got a part number?

You need to realize that your truck has dropped about an inch and a half sense new so to install an OME medium lift will only set you 1/4 to 1/2" taller then new.

So, you're saying that if I put their '2" lift kit' on a factory new vehicle, I wouldn't get 2" of lift.

That sounds not only counterintuitive, but like false advertising.

I assume that '2" lift' means 'springs 2" longer than new factory springs', and I'd bet everyone else does, too.

Do you have a citation for your assertion here? OME doesn't seem to have their own website, and ARB is similarly unavailing.

Go back and read what I last posted. I said, your truck has dropped from its original height and installing a 2" lift will get you that plus a small amount more back.
If you had a brand new D2 and installed a 2 or 3" lift, then it would be 2 or 3"'s taller the the factory specs.
Not sure why you are making this so hard.
