Hi guys,

I would like to have some clear opinion with shocks for Discovery With ACE and without.
Mine Discovery 2 is a 2001 model with ACE.
My current original socks are worn, and on fast off-road drive vehicle being bumped.
Alternative shocks for replacing the original Land Rover are:
1) OME
2) Koni
3) Bilstein

To be honest, I was looking at the Bilstein as a #1 option.
Vehicle has no front iron bumper, no winch, I ride with average weight load.
After contacting Bilstein Germany, they manufacture shocks for the NON-ACE Discovery models:

Front shock F4-BE5-6046-H0
Rear Shock F4-BE5-6047-H0

What is different with ACE vehicle from non-ACE vehicle from the shocks prospective?
What could happen when you mont non-ACE shocks on an ACE vehicle?
Is it possible to "Valve" the rear shock to suit the ACE Axle?
