Default Black out tail light tint removal

03 D2- Any body have any tricks? All the tail lights are blacked out from the PO. I have tried using goof off and carb cleaner, but honestly seems like the tint was applied to the inside of the lens?

Any help would've appreciated.

While it is unlikely that the tint is on the inside of the lens, it could also be spray painted on.
