Default Bleeding the coolant system

I hate to ask this because I dont want to sound like an idiot. But I just put new hoses and new coolant( green which was in it) on my discoII and bled it by the post on here. I think things are good but want to be sure. heater is hotter than before and the hoses are good and hot and feel like they have a bunch of pressure on them. I had good coolant flow out of the bleed screw the thing seems to be operating. How should the hoses feel to the touch? Really Hot? Under pressure? Just feel extra hot and more pressurized than normal. Any thoughts? Be easy on me. I know the post sound like Im an idiot. Thanks.

If you are getting heat in the truck, don't hear a waterfall sound in the cab and see coolant flowing you should be good. Be sure to check every day for a couple days as I'm sure some little bubbles are taking up air.
If the top hoses feel very hot, with the truck turned off, feel the bottom rad hose going to the stat to make sure it is opening up. If not, make sure to drive around a bit as some air would likely be in the rad. I just did that this weekend. Good to check after as well to make sure it is opening in general.

And check your coolant level, before a cold start, if the coolant is not up to the mold seam on the bottle add coolant and then recheck it in a week, before a cold start.
