Default Blew my load on shocks, is the standard AB brake rebuild kit decent?

I had some money to put in my truck and decided to buy OME shocks, springs and steering stabilizer. I still need all 4 rotors and pads. I was planning on getting the EBC brake kit and cheaper shocks but now it looks like it's going to go the other way. Does anyone have experience with the standard DII brake kit from british atlantic? This is the standard rotors with lockheed pads kit.

Is this a decent kit or should I just save up a few more weeks and get the better brakes? I wanted to do the shocks and brakes all at once so I don't have to repeat work.

Buy the middle grade at least, otherwise you will wear out your new pads quicker and they won't stop as well.

So the the standard rotors with the ferodo pads? I guess for $100 more though I should just save up another 2 weeks and get the EBC kit. Maybe between now and they will have a free shipping deal.

Yeah I've heard good things about the ferodo pads but the time to buy that kit was last month when it was on sale. I also pay sales tax at AB which makes things less of a deal. The plus side is that UPS ground comes the next day. Decisions, decisions.

Well the time to buy that ebc kit is this month, as they are on sale, $494 and some change for all the way around, plus whatever shipping you have to pay. Do it, save,
you got time.

Yeah the EBC is on sale until 8/28. It will take a bit of doing to convince the wife we need performance brakes.

you can have AB set up a kit with standard rotors and EBC pads for $400.

its probably worth it to spend the extra $100 on the EBC rotors, but not everyone has the extra $100.
