Default Book time to replace front and rear diffs?

My alldata script has expired... I'm curious, does anyone know the book time average for a shop to replace the front and rear diffs? I'm planning out a truetrack front/detroit rear job and am figuring out probably costs for installation/labor and associated parts ie. gaskets, fluids etc.

Thanks all!

ps. I'm also looking to go with a different ratio, 4.11 perhaps unless someone could recommend other, to regain some loss I now have with my oversized tires. I can barely merge infront of a timber toating 18 wheeler haha.

I honestly have no idea what a shop time would be, but I can not imagine it could take more than 2 hrs per. that's about what it took me. axle seals, o rings, gear oil, nylocks, and sealant (right stuff) are the only consumables that are disturbed, unless you count pads. first two optional.

4:11's are good, Ashcroft is the cheaper alternative unless shipping is high from the UK. The 4:14's (Stage 3 Gears) are the strongest in that range for that tire and would run you 800$ for F&R Vs. $600 for GBR 4:11's (Stage 2 Gears).

Mitchel/Snap on Shop key is 5.2 hours per axle.

That's a little high, if your not replacing the axles you don't even have to fully pull them. Just wiggle them out of the diff, and pull the diff and put the new one in. If they are rebuilding your diffs I could see it being 2hours for building, and 4 for installation.

5.2 hours maybe if you're rebuilding the diffs too...

I had no idea what I was doing and ran into several issues and still did both in 7 or so

Just ask how much labor will end up to be and get several quotes from other shops.

5.2 is to remove, rebuild, and refit.

To simply remove the driving head and replace it with a complete unit is 2 hours per axle

5 will work, I'll figure to budget at least $500 then for the install, thanks all! Hopefully it's just a pop in and out operation. Anyone have any idea if anything patricular needs to be done if I grab a pair with different gearing? I remember when I got 4.11's for my trans am I needed a different paddle kit to make room for them to bolt in, might be a torsen thing though
