Borla exhaust
I got a muffler, tailpipe, and one clamp. the muffler has a lil plate with holes for bolts on either side. from looking under my car I don't see why I couldn't do it myself, so long as I could get the old one off! i just didn't want to get it off and not fit the new one ya kniow then i'd have to drive it somewhere, without anything!
x my question, I'm movin kinda slow today. With tons of heavy research,I crusied over to the borla site to find in giant red letters all of their "systems" are bolt on. Nice
I'm just adding this as it may help another. Yes, borla stuff is "bolt on" but I couldn't get the flange loose from the old muffler. So I went ahead and took it to the shop. It was all they could do to get it off with a blow torch!, they only charged me $50. So I figure if you can afford the borla stuff it may be worth it to let someone else do it. Of course this is for all of us who don't own a blow torch.
by the way it sounds AWESOME! I highly recommend

like he said if it is a bolt on product, then ok. the getting things off part is easy. a reciprocating saw. don't cut anything you plan to reuse. replace the hangers and all nuts and bolts. cheap easy less rattles. borla is a good product. before you start the disassembly, do a dry fit below the vehicle. jacks and jack stands please. I have seen what happens when a vehicle falls on someone. Not pretty.
make sure things line up as with the original stuff. Once you have everything someone to help is a good thing when you are dealing with any exhaust. While it is a part check the cats out as well. HOpe it helps, gotta love a rover. duboff
