You need the one's with the grey plug, not black. don't know what you paid for them, but ATB sells good parts:

For those following and searching the correct part # for the Bosch O2 Sensor is 13923.

I scanned the truck and found that only one of the sensors was not reading and given the trouble of finding the sensors in thus far did not want to have the local folks order another 3 as they did not have them in stock until I made sure I had the right O2 sensor.

Anyway I changed out the bad sensor B1-S1 and re-set the codes and drove it last night. I again got the P1316 and a new code P430. Using another scanner (snap on modis) I Scanned P300, P302 and the P1316.

I am deciding if I should order a set of the 8mm wires today along with another 3 O2 sensors in the hope that the problem is solved. At this point though I am not sure I want to dump any more $ in this POS.

To date, in the last month I have performed the following to drive 30mi,

Plugs & Wires
Oil & filter
Changed all fluids
T-stat & antifreeze
Fuel filter
Alignment
1 O2 sensor

This has run me about 500$ + my time and I am looking at anothe 500$ for sensors and wires. Should I continue or just cut my losses and burn this thing in the parking lot? (just joking... I think)

you have come so far and invested $500. You invest another $500 and it will be running like new. what type of plugs did you use?

X2, keep it going. What octane fuel are you using? What plugs and wires did you use?

Replacing 1 sensor rarely fixes the problem. They go out at 80K. Throwing one new sensor into the equasion will mess with the computer. Do all 4 at the same time.

Right now it is full of 93, and techron x2 as the prior tank with ? and the upper chamber cleaner is gone.

If I thought it would be 500$ more that would be one thing. From what I gather I am looking at somewhere in the 1K range if I am lucky.

3 more sensors, 114$ ea. As I should have got 4 from the start.

Magnacore wires 130$ set From what I gather this is what I should have done from the start. The ones that were on there when I started this odyssey were complete junk so I picked up a set at NAPA.

Cat pipe ? 400$ +- as that will hopefully clear the P430

and that might fix the problem? If that does not fix the problem then where do I turn. Just frustrated right now and running out of time and $.

$130 is too much for wires. go to Apex Performance they are $80.. there is $50 saved right there. Whats wrong with the Cat pipe? where is it leaking?

I used a platinum plug (probably autolite) and a Napa Premium wire set.

I have the O2 sensors showing up in a little while and will replace those and see what I get. If I am still getting the P430 then I will order and replace the cat pipe.

did you at least get 8mm napa wires? you are failing to listen and are throwing money away. 8mm magnecor wires from apex performance and bosch +4 plat plugs.

I am not failing to listen.

The Most of the repairs that I have preformed were preformed using the same techniques I have used in the past.

I purchased plugs and wires along with all the components to change the fluids and filters before I came on this site. I have already stated that since I now know there are parts that work better I will replace them.

I ordered O2 sensors for the truck and received the wrong style on 2 occasions, once due to an error in the year which was my fault and once due to the AEL / Non-AEL confusion. I ordered one sensor for the 2 reasons stated:

1) I did not want the parts store to return 4 sensors as they can not recoup shipping on the returns and wanted to make sure that the 13923 was the correct sensor.

2) I figured while I waited for the other 3 sensors I would replace the bad sensor and see if the problem was corrected. Well the B1 S1 code is gone and replaced with the P430 code.

I have now posted the correct # of Bosch O2 so that the next person who comes along looking for O2 Sensors can have that info.

Bosch AEL O2 part # is 13923
Bosch Non-AEL part # is 13927

While some of this may seem common knowlege to those of you who have been playing with these for years some of us who are new to the vehicle may not know as much as the seasoned veteran of these vehicles.
