Default Bosch plus 4 plugs

I'm replacing the OEM plugs in my 2003 Disco 4.6l with the forum recommended Bosch plus 4 plugs. To make sure i have the right ones can someone tell me the number for these plugs? Will the model # 4418 work? If not which ones are the right ones? and what is the gap size?

TIA

That is the correct plug and you don't have to gap them. How many miles on your engine, are you replacing the plug wires also?

it has 52k on the OD. The SES light came on, the dealer says 2 spark plugs are fouling. So instead of paying the 800.00 the dealer wants i'm ordering the Magnecor 8mm and the Bosch plugs with the intake gasket and having the mechanic down the street replace it all for 100.00

I've been reading on the various rover sites on spark plugs and on this site it seems like the bosch +4 plugs are the plugs of choice. On dweb, the plug of choice is the champion 322 plug. Now what's the difference and how can I determine which plug is better for me?

I finally got my wires today, 3 weeks after i paid for them online at Ultrarev.com. I suggest not going there even if they are cheaper than anyone else i found. Waiting 3 weeks for a part is just rediculous and wish i would have gone where DiscoMike told me to go. Just a warning out there for ya.

Maybe in 60k miles a different vendor will carry them

You won't go wrong with either choice of plugs. I have the +4's and have no issues. Some people just prefer the champions.

I think either the mechanic has no idea what he's getting himself into or he is just incredibly affordable. Its a ~4 hour job.

I brought the disco to him and explained what needs to be done, he said he could do it in 1.5 hours. I hope i dont get surprised with a 4 hour labor bill.

Have him write up a work order with an estimate and you can hold him to the price quoted.
