2004 land rover discovery HSE7. brake lights constantly on, and cruise not working. I understand it's the brake light switch, and easily replaceable. I've read and read, and I cannot locate a picture or a thread detailing the replacement procedure, but have found numerous threads of this problem happening frequently and a new switch resolving.

can anyone -- pretty please! -- tell me where this thing is???? and the proper method of replacement? i'd owe you a many thanks. i'd rather not go to the repair shop.

 

This is it......the black box with the connector coming out of it. It's located at the top of the brake pedal arm. :-)
