Brake Line Flares
Hi everyone:
I've just replaced my BMC, and am having some trouble getting the system bled. I'm wondering if maybe part of the issue is with the flares on the lines coming out of the BMC itself. When removing the lines from the old BMC, the fittings were able to slide up the lines away from the flares. The flares themselves looked even and solid, so I didn't think anything of it. Then I remembered my BMW days and that most euro makers used a bubble style flare, witch was supposed to be more permanent. Was I supposed to reflare the lines before reconnecting them to the new BMC?
