Brake lines for 2" Lift
How much longer do the brake lines need to be for a 2" lift? I know the obvious would be 2" longer, but does that take into account the added radial movement and length, meaning it may require more like 3-4" longer? And can you go too long? There's a place in Canada that makes excellent stainless steel brake lines custom and we don't know how much to add to the new lines for it to be a safe length.

Its not all about articulation, though that does play a role. Its about the slack being taken up in your stock lines when you push the axle 2" down by lifting it. Longer travel shocks will also contribute to the need for longer lines.
Zack, didn't you get some lines from www.paragonperformance.com ?

Yours were $150? I know I have a D1 and you a D2, but my 25" lines were $91 shipped from Paragon.
Better to have too long and not use it all, than to have too short and need more.
2" lift and the tf or gr extended lines will be fine. If you think you might go 3 or more and allow more articulation, you don't want to buy twice....I had the tf extended lines and did suspension tinkering until I was using them as limiting straps. Extra length is easily detained and kept out of harms way

I say custom, but I just mean the place makes lines on demand. For Cheap. I already bought a Stainless Steel stock-length kit from them for $85 shipped. Of the 4 main lines, 2 are longer than the other 2, by about 2"-4" (I forget). So I could put the longer ones where the shorter ones would normally go and order 2 proportionally longer ones and keep the rest of the kit. Whatever length I need will be another $50 shipped, or so I am quoted. I'll take some measurements tomorrow and let you know what I find and throw a pic or two up.
Just went out with string and measuring lip of top fitting to center of caliper fitting, I have numbers! Stock Brake line Lengths are 15" for the Back and 21" for the Front. So I'll use the new 21" set I have on the back, and order a few that are 27" or so for the front to match the extra 6". I'll tie the brake lines out of the way to make them a bit tidier with their extended length.
