Default Brake Recommendations Please

I need to do a full brake job all around. What recommendations do you guys have for rotors / pads? Should I use slotted, dimpled or both or stick with OEM?

Thanks!

How many miles on your truck, have the rotors been changed before, what sort of driving do you do with it?

I have 80K miles and it's my daily driver. 40 miles a day in stop and go traffic. Also off-road when available! Yes, the rotors have been changed before.

I like Akebono ceramic brake pads. Virtually zero dust to crud up the rims with, yet still maintain excellent stopping grip. Extremely long life as well.

I don't have any rotor preferences and for daily driving never hadthe need to use anything but OEM or equivalent rotors.

If you go with drilled rotors and you off road you run the risk of the holes getting full of mud and throwing off your wheel balance.
It is a small risk, but one none the less.

I had a bad experience with ceramics on the LR. They squeel too much and set off the ABS light. Anyone else seen this?

What brand of ceramic pads did you use, did you use the sound deadening material?

DBA's and EBC pads work well.

I bought the truck with ceramics on there from the dealer. Had them change them out with OEM and new rotors.

Thanks for the replies!
