Default Break pedal to the Floor!!!

This morning my break pedal went right to the floor. I checked my fluid level everything was good. Where is the vacuum line located on the booster? And can I replace the master cylinder myself? I'm pretty handing with cars just never did one before. Can anyone give me directions on replacing it?

It might be your brake booster and not your master cylinder.

Don't guess, it will only cost you money. Where is your fluid level, when was the fluid last changed, have you checked all your wheels for fluid leaks.
The booster hose is right on the booster and is not the problem.

Had a front brake hose replaced about 2 months ago. Not sure if they flushed the system and if they did not sure if they used DOT 3 or 4. Have not detected any leaks at the wheels. Truck was fine yesterday then right to the floor today.

Fluid level is dead on. Between the min and max level.

What happens if you pump the pedal 2 times? If nothing, it is a failed master cylinder.

if i pump the pedal with the car running, nothing happens, if i pump it with the truck off it does firm up quite a bit. Not sure if it matters if the truck is running or not.
