Brush Bar for '02 Discovery
It's almost sickening how overpriced that stuff is. Just find what you want and have someone make it for probably a third of the cost! Anyone with some fab experience can make you one of those, and in this economy people are always looking for side work. Just my 2 cents
You can always try your local junkyards, you never know what they might have specially with our trucks hitting the 10 year mark. You can also search for a junkyard that specializes in Land Rovers, they do exist.
you could probably (not really exagerating too much) find an entire running disco for what the dealer wants for just the bar.
im pretty sure when i need anything other then filters/belts im just going to buy an entire new truck to pull parts from hahaha

Any interest in a used one?
I'm about to replace my with a winch bumper. It's got a little rust, but could be cleaned up.

Dang, sorry man I'm too lazy to ship mine
.
As reference, I bought one for my old DI off eBay (about 7 years ago) and it was around $100 freight shipping if you go pick it up at the dock.
Scan Craigslist and stop in to any local indie Rover shops and put up a "Want to buy" add and you'll get some hits I'm sure. People are always replacing the factory brush bar with winch bumpers, etc,...
