Budget tire poll, Kenda Klevers vs Treadwright Crawlers
How do they run in relation to advertised size vs actual size?
For example in the racing world M&H slicks run narrow while the Mickeys seem about right.
Because I always thought a 235/85 was a 32 inch tire, but Kenda's official stats say 31.8. I know I know 2/10ths is hardly anything. However, I have seen biggest differences between advertised and actual dimensions than that.

12 psi, i saw my buddy in a jeep pop a bead at 8psi once already
I am would vote Kenda's only because Treadwright has HORRENDOUS customer service and I canceled my order after trying to contact them about my tires not shipping. Come to find out the tires were on back order when the website didn't say that.
Any of you guys considered Tire Recappers of Nashville? Same Guarddog tread pattern and on the East Coast and they supposedly have all tires listed on their site stocking. I just can't justify retreads when I can get virgin tires for only a couple dollars more.
Tire Recappers ships free with 4 tire order so they are even less than Treadwright.

Are you running the stock D2 wheels? I wouldn't think it's safe to run the 235/85/16 on the 8" stock wheel. Maybe if you never air-down.
I could be crazy.
Regarding the tires, my buddy had Kenda, good mud tire. Make a bit of a hum on pavement but...they are mud tires, they all do.
If you are looking for a third option. I have swamper Irok radial in 265/75/16
Amazing tires on and off road and man where they cheap. I've had them for a year so far. Very happy.

Those are very nice looking tires, I'll have to check them out.
I have a set of D1 wheels I was going to put the 235s on, but I am actually leaning towards a 265s now. I have 3" inches of lift and I think 265s might look a bit more balanced. Maybe even 285s but I don't care for they look and the to 255/85s are way to damn expensive for me.
Its been a long long time since I have measured them but I was thought it was 7 inches wide. This is what they look like though:
My rig currently has Hurricanes on it, which looked really good on road tires with 2 inches of lift, adding another inch and doing the shafts in preparation for some trails finds me having to come to a decision on tires.
