Default buick lifters in a rover?

Can I buy buick 215 lifters from oreilly for my rover? just thinking of changing them all out while I have it open...

Rock Auto - about $7 - for a Rover. Or Rover Farm.

Good to know cause ab was like 15 bucks apiece. But i can buy the Buick version at Orielly.. For 7 dollars plus i get a local Ford dealer discount at orielly.. I'm not trying to be a cheap @$$... Its just easier to by them a block from the house if the are the same.. If rather not order them if i can get then quicker... Anyone know if they are the same...if not I'll go with buzz's recommendation

The ones on rock auto ship from England. Be prepared for BIG shipping costs.

Before you go changing out your lifters, realize that Rovers have very soft cam lobes which wear out. You can not install new lifters on a cam with warn lobes. If you think you need lifters spend the money and buy a cam cause new lifters will chew up your cam.

I don't "need" to change them. cam and lifters look great. My only concern was if something was clogged or might not be in perfect shape. I was just operating the "while I have it open" mentality.. that's all

for those watching this thread I have confirmed that buick 215 lifters are acceptable and you can get them at any oreilly/autozone... and they are cheap!
