Well this weekend i didn't drive my rover i was driving my moms car and after a party i come home to find that someone seemed to have smashed the right corner of my front bumper it was parked in a way no car could hit it so it had to have been vandalized. Does anyone know where i can get a stock bumper cover on the cheap dealer wants $850 just for parts

Also if anyone has a modded disco and is trying to sell their front bumper/cover id most likely be willing to buy.

 

$850?! You could find a good steel bumper and replace the whole thing for less than that.

 

Its the only dealer in 400 miles they price however they want

 

Order one from Atlantic British for $70 and take it to a collision shop and get paint matched. They only need the color code which is easy to get. I paid $125 for the paint. Then take it home and undo like 5 screws and place the new one on. This is assuming there is no damage to the rest of the bumper structure. It'll take you 10 minutes tops.

Rovers North wants $118 just for one end cap piece which like the guy above said, you will have to get painted. Alternatively you can buy a used bumper or bumper end cap from someone on here who parts out Land Rovers. Theres a bunch of people here who part out for a living so make a thread in the wanted section. I bet you will score a very good deal and you might even be able to get a replacement in the same color! Good look mate.

 

He has a '02 disco it has a one piece front bumper. Go with a steel bumper.

Good luck with finding just the cover. Mine (bought 3 weeks ago) came with a cracked and hole-filled front bumper cover. I've been searching everywhere I can find for just the plastic cover, but everyone sells the whole assembly, and usually for a price just below the new TF bumper linked above. When it's time, I'm prolly gonna go with the TF bumper. Good luck though, and let us know if u do find just the cover...

 

Yeah i have an 02. the problem is i can't just get a steel one because my mom wants the land rover to be stock as she is taking it over so i can get my audi and she will then keep it or sell it she's not sure yet so we have to keep it stock. insurance said they will cover it as an uninsured driver if we claim it as a hit and run and not vandalism
