Default To Burgundy, or not to Burgundy

GUYS... I need your help / advice ASAP!

I JUST found and am considering a beauty of an '04 Burgundy Disco.

My question- does anyone own this color? What do you like / dislike about it?

I REALLY like the way it looks in the showroom...

I may commit to purchase tomorrow!

Burgandy is close to black...but I do like it.
And with you living on a dirt road I do not know how well the deep red will hide/show the dirt. I think it will be fine, not as good as white...but at least you will beable to find your truck in the snow.

I saw an 03 in that color a few days ago here in the virgin islands. its a nice color...i think its rare....at least from what i have seen in Tampa, Fl and here on St. Croix. I would go with it... whats the interior on those Burgundy ones?

However my dream color combination was silver with all black interior and LUCKILY i found it.

My 03 falls out of the vin range but who knows! it has 60k and i just completed Disco Mike's 60k mile service minus the plugs and wires and sometime at red lights i have to double check the rpms cuz its so quiet i think it shut off!!! lol

Good luck!

I keep falling in and out of love with it... I think I might get it. I am going to sleep on it!

I'm so giddy, but I'm forcing myself to wait overnight.

Is 50k miles for an 04 a lot? My '00 had 50k miles... but I have a feeling that was abnormally low. What do you guys think? I feel like newer vehicles have a "grace period", and I can't really see any amount of miles being too many for an '04.. let me know your thoughts!!

Mileage is irrelevant if the truck was well cared for, it all depends on type of driving which is usually a function of location. I've seen 04's with 100k and some w/ 20k on the clock. My '04 just turned over 68000.

Giddy as a school girl...

50k for a 4 yr old car is right on track with the national average of 12,000 miles per year.
Probally a lease turn in, so a one owner.
