@cvhyatt Well she sent me a photo of the VIN and the 1st four letters of it are SALT...makes me think it has been salvaged. I might want to avoid this one period. Carfaz should at least tell me that. Better to drop 40 bucks over a few grand. Not a salvage after all. No issues reported for the vehicle. But never hurts to be wary.

@cvhyatt , If I was to head back to the JAX area I may not leave and the wife and work wouldn't be happy about that. The wife would be because I didn't take her with me. LOL. Was stationed there for 9 years. But those are so really good prices.
Carfax came back clean. Found out the engine was just rebuilt recently by her Fiance all new parts. Will ask him this weekend in person about the rest of the maintenance. He used to work for Rover and was a mechanic as I am told. Also said maintenance is done every 5000 miles.

@cvhyatt Well, the one I was looking at didn't go thru. The title is all fouled up. Owner doesn't even have on hand. It's in Houston and they are dragging feet to send. So gonna pass . Back too the drawing board.I might take you up on the FL ones thou.
If I were buying again I would stick a borescope down each cylinder and check for steam cleaned piston heads.
At the risk of sounding rude (and l'm not picking on you personally)...but l see this mentioned here all the time...and this is just an unreasonable request. Someone shows up at my house and ask me to pull out 8 spark plugs, especially on a SAI engine...l'm going to point them down the driveway they came in on. First off, you risk ruining a plug wire, then that turns into a upper intake removal to get at coil packs, unreasonable. Break a plug, is another issue. Pull all of the plugs and the guy turns out to be a "tire-kicker" or doesn't know "what he's looking at or for", even if he did look through a scope to begin with, great, it's just to much work and risk.
Also check for sweet smelling exhaust and any codes.
This is reasonable.
Again, not trying to be rude or call you out personally, just, l've read it so many times...it's time to say something.
