Thanks Juke! Yeah I took old faithful out to get supplies today. Water at the main road and my street is still close to 2ft in a few spots. People were not happy with my bow wave, but honestly the water has gone way down vs what it was so the damage has already been done. You do not crawl thru deep water in a vehicle! You must have a bow wave to push the water away. I did really well on the way out, without even making the alternator light come on. On the way back I met some traffic and got a little deeper water to drive thru and the alternator light came on, but it was nothing the old gal can't handle. During Harvey I had water over the hood in a few places and no snorkel. This time water barely got above my ARB bumper and I was prepared with a snorkel this time.
People bash Wal-Mart, but they were fully operational and fully stocked by 7AM this morning. All the smaller businesses were closed so without Wal-Mart I wouldn't have been able to re-stock my supplies.

Yep totally untouched. Even if I could get my company work vehicle out on the roads I doubt I'd be able to get to them (lots of road closures) or if I made it to the site I'd more than likely find it closed.
My Inlaw wanted me to go cruising around in the flood waters since I did it during Harvey and I told her NO real fast. I only went out during Harvey for fuel for the generators and to get her husband. It was very risky with people out cruising around all over that are 100% clueless on how to drive thru deep water. I only went out into this mess for supplies for my family. Besides that it's just not worth it!! If a life threatening situation pops up (like someone bit by a snake) then by all means yes, but for now I'm safe and unless that changes I have no business out on those flooded roads.
