Default camshaft

Hello,
I am looking to add more torque to my disco I do a lot of towing with it and the long long uphills are a killer, I was hoping to find an upgraded camshaft but I have had no luck does anyone no where I might be able to find one?

D&D D&D Fabrications: MGB V8 Conversion Products should have some options for you. I almost purchased a stock profile crowler cam for my II but they go away with using the cam thrust plate and I wasn't confident with having a cam walking in my engine. Call ank for mark.

What are you driving a 4.0 or a 4.6, makes a big difference?

It would be cheaper and easier to change your gearing in the diffs.

I would prefer the cam right now as I am doing a intake gasket, water pump, oil pump gears and timing set so I figure now would be the time..

Mike I have a 4.0

Why dont you just throw in a new 4.6 crank and cam and then get a used 4.6 ecu off of e-bay?
