can anyone help me with nav?
Have no directions or CDs. Bought the truck at auction. 03 disco HSE
I'm also missing the CD changer cartridge
I even called Land Rover and they said I was out of luck.
Anyone know where to get this stuff or could copy something for me would be greatly appreciated.

The map CD's can be bought from the navteq online shop..... Your dealer can also get them, I dont know why he said your out of luck. Failing that somone on her must have North American CD's and surely they would copy them for you. I would no probs, but I dont think European discs would help you very much lol

As far as the changer cartridge, its the same for the Nav system CD changer as for the non nav changer, probably find them on Ebay. Failing that ANY good stereo / hifi shop can get replacement Alpine CD cartridges as that is what you need.
Again your dealer can get these to, but they would be DOUBLE the price.!!!

Call a different dealer.
Look on e-bay, craigslist, Google it.
The CD changer isa Alpine unit, so a CD cartridge for a Alpine CD changer will work. Again look on e-bay.
Go to Alpines web site.
If you dont want to pay the $350 for the sat/nav DVD then buy a TomTom for $200.

I found a cartridge for $30 so that is not the problem. I don't think $350 for a cd or buy a tom tom is a viable answer for a disk that came with the car that costs no more than a dollar. There should be availability for a replacement since it was purchased once already for that vin number. Maybe you should get a job at Land Rover.
