Default Can I take the tow package off an HSE?

A local craigslist guy is offering his "extras" of his 04 HSE before trading it in to the dealer....

It seems he has a slot for a reciever hitch, which I dont have.

Would it be simple to remove the "tow package" off his truck and put it on mine?

Thanks, Dustin

All D2's use the same tow package, so yes you could.

I took a tow package off of an HSE and put it on my 04 that didnt have one and it bolted right up. I also took the hydraulic step and it mounted right up. There will be four bolts total. I believe the two smaller ones are 12mm on the top bracket and the bolts throught the subframe are like 17/19mm but you will need a wrench and a socket or two wrenches because they have a bolt and nut not just a bolt threaded into the frame. Also make sure sure you do bring a wrench and not two sockets because one side is pretty tight so couldn't get two sockets in there. I will go home and see if I can get the exact sizes for you so you can be prepared.
