Need to tap into the timing cover for both oil temp and pressure sensor, can someone verify if the two unused ports on my 2004 Discovery 2 (green arrows) can be use? The one in red does not exist on my car. Thanks for any advise.

 

There was an engine oil cooler in 99-02 trucks that was removed for 03/04 vehicle. It's possibly that....but not positive.

 

The lower one was used for the oil cooler line on early DII's. The upper one is not.

 

u could use a sandwich adapter with two ports and be done in 10 minutes
