Default Car moaning when turning wheel

My Disco II is moaning like an old cat when you turn the wheel whether you are moving or not.

Steering is fine, just an ugly sound.

When first started it was sporadic, had turned to constant noise.

Power Steering reservoir is full, could have a leak, quite frankly everything leaks so hard to tell whats, what.

Attached a video.

Mine made the same noise from time to time. I jacked up the front end put it on jack stands topped off the fluid to the proper level and with the engine off turned the steering wheel lock to lock about 6 times. Checked the fluid level and put it back on the ground noise gone. It had a bit of air in the system, doing the above bleeds it. You don't have to jack it up but it makes for a lot less effort on turning the wheel

First of all, I was always told you should never turn the steering wheel with the vehicle not moving. Doing so puts stress on the steering components. My wife does so nonetheless, no matter how many times I remind her to not do so. That said, the power steering in my truck has groaned when the truck is cold for years and years with no other adverse effect. I change the PS fluid every two years. If you don't have any bigger concerns with your DII right now consider yourself lucky. Then wait a week.

Did a flush today with no luck..

Sounds like its more coming from the center (engine) versus the right side where you can see the power steering pump.

Leaves me thinking possibly serpentine belt?

My 2003 does exactly the same sometimes, I think it's just farting

Since I fitted the HD Terrafirma steering damper a few months back the steering is significantly heavier at low speeds 5-15mph and when turning in, say a car park, at 2mph it occasionally makes the 'farting' noise on left hand lock and it's never on or near full lock, I never turn the steering wheel that far on full lock.

I didn't listen to the vid earlier ammonation, if it weren't so serious that noise would be hilarious.

I read car moaning and came in here ready for some "adult jokes". Must say I was sorely disappointed.

Check you belt tensioner. Always a good starting point. do you have oil on the server belt from your multiple leaks?

Its definitely leaking, crawled under to see it dripping down a hose line from what I assume is the pump.

Don't know if it is a hose or what. Plenty of fluid it, but air is getting in.
