Just curious, what's the distance from the rear door to the back of the seat in the cargo area of a Disco I & II?

Crap! I use dto know this! When I was speculating whether to buy a Disco I measured this. I know it's about 6"s shorter than a 96 Ford explorer, which was my prior beater truck. I was somewhat disappointed about that. I'll measure it again later if no one responds back before I get to it.

 

I just checked, it's 31" from the bottom of the back seat to the rear door without the pocket. About ~60" to the back door from the front seats, I have mine all the way back. This measurement is approximate as I didn't fold down the rear seats to take it. Might actually be a couple of inches more?

 

Doesn't a Series II have a longer cargo area? Slightly anyway?
