I just purchased a 2003 Discovery SD. It has an aftermarket cd player, and I am looking to return everything to factory and add a cd changer. I purchased online part number XQD000340PUY:

This is the factory unit which I believe comes in the SE models. I would like to know the exact part number (either alpine or land rover) for the cd changer that will work with the alpine unit i just purchased. I checked under my seat and the vehicle is wired to receive the cd changer.

If you do a search online for the item I just purchased (XQD000340PUY), you will come across an incorrect link which refers to that part as a Philips. Thank much guys.

Don't bet your life on it....but I'm pretty sure you need the Alpine LRN50500

It's listed as the OEM changer for a Alpine equiped 2000 disco II....so should be a safe bet it's the same for 2003 since everything I have seen indicates they used the same stereo.
