Hello all, I have the Disco 2004 HSE with 6 CD changer. A while ago, I bought this: http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/8865.cfm, plugged out the 6-cd changer cable, plugged in the audio-in adapter, and started routing my ipod through the stereo. Last week I took it into the dealer to have the windshield replaced (another story altogether), and when I got it back, it was no longer working. The CD changer menu said "CD: -- Track: --" instead of "CD: 1 Track: 1" as it did.

I tried plugging out the adapter and plugging the changer back in, but that didn't work anymore either. I tested the changer and it was ejecting the cartridge, but the menu still said the same thing. Tried turning it on and off. Seems like a real coincedence that it was in the shop the same time it went wrong. Any ideas?

 

I would take it back and ask them about it.
I have no other suggestions, sorry.
