seems like one thing after another is breaking.... My 6 disc changer isn't reading my discs; it either says no disc or goes through all of them and says no disc at the end. Can i put a lens cleaning disc in a disc changer? is that safe?

 

Your six disc changer unit is simply a standard fare Alpine device ... You can run any normal type of cleaner disc thru there w/out worrying about it.

For the record, I've had my changer do the same thing a couple of times, but it's just been a simple error. Turning the radio off/on, or turning the truck off, then back on, has set things back to normal for me ...

I say to give a cleaning disc a try, and then see what happens ...

 

yea i'll probably do that. we got it to work one time but it had the wrong cds in there. when we changed them it didn't work again.
