I'm whiney and achey this weekend so I laid on the ground for 30 mins starring at the underside of the rover in the garage with my new-to-me CDL housing and gear set sitting on the work bench... Do you HAVE to remove the exhuast system?? It looks like there's enough room to remove the housing without doing so. I took the CDL Ive got out of a 98 model but some one had already torched the exhuast off so I never had to deal with it. The PDF I found online for the How-to CDL install says to remove cross members and exhaust system... Just doesnt look like it.... help?
