Default CDL nipple and linkage?

Going through the service records of my '01 D2, I noticed at one point the truck was taken in for an intermittent CDL light. The stealership was unable to reproduce the warning light and found no stored fault codes (this was around 30K miles). About 700 miles later it was taken in again for the same reason, only this time they did something about it. Here is what is on the work order "Unhooked and tapped back wiring from diff lock switch on t-box as per techline". I also noticed on the work orders that the delivery date was early Feb. '01. Based on this info is it safe to assume I have the CDL nipple? I know I need to get under the truck and look to verify, but I am at work and my jack and stands are at my buddies house. I remember a seeing an earlier post and DiscoMike (I think) had a picture of the T-case showing where the nipple is. I believe it wasn't installed, just sitting outside. Does anyone have that picture? If I do have the CDL I'm thinking of getting the CDL handle from RoverShoppe. Has anyone used this? Are there any issues with it? Using parts from a D1 or an '04 is cool but not worth the money to me.

So do you have the nipple, I doubt it by the production date, but you can never tell.
Let me know if you want linkage info.

Could you send me the linkage info on how to hook up a D1 linkageto a D2 with CDL. I looked every where for a solenoid like I believe disco mike has but everyone I talked to said due to exchange rate from AU they no longer import them here because they would have nearly doubled in price now.

Ha ha, success!! I just wiggled my way underneath the DII with a flashlight and saw my CDL nipple. I doubled checked by feeling around, and sure enough it's there. So Mike, what linkage info do you have (all kinds I'm sure )? The easier the better works just fine for me.

If you contact these guys, http://www.roverlandparts.com/index....S&Category=347
They sell both the D1 linkage as well as the 04 linkage, when they have it.

As for the solenoid package, contact the guys at, http://www.safarigard.com/ , they used to sell them and can probably tell you who the supplier is.

Hey Mike, thanks for the links. The link to RoverLandParts, is that all I need besides installation? I always hear people say it's $600-$700 to use '03-'04 D2 parts, is that for models with no CDL and needs a new T-case?
