I just got off the phone with RoverLandParts and I need to get the '04 T-case shifter, the '03 model is the same as the '01 (no extra cable for the CDL). The '04 shifter wasn't on their site until I called and asked about it (they forgot to post it). They know how in demand these shifters are, so I think that's why they wany $295, while the other three shifters ('99-'03) are between $100-$150.

 

So is the 04 shift linkagefor $295 a complete bolt on minus the shift ****? Because another site (I think expedition exchange)is selling that 04 kit for around $800-$900 and it says bolt on kit with everything.

 

Here's the link to RoverLandParts '04 shifter. No picture though. They say " Automatic. Complete with both cables and all hardware." I'm wondering about the price difference too. Maybe RLP just has better prices do to the amount of vehicles they process.

 

Yea thats a big price difference though. If you get that kit from Rover Land Parts and it is everything you need minus the shift **** with a diff lock let me know I would buy it for $300 if it's everything I need.
