it could be the PDF viewing software. I know the Mac's have built in stuff. Maybe if you download Adobe it would be able to read it correctly.

The CDL I have has the Low Range Selector with it. It already has the bend in the shifter linkage.

I bought a used D1 shifter from Hilltoppersx. He included this fabbed-up "L" bracket shown in the picture below. I didn't have to bend the linkage to meet the hi/low selector. Worked out great!
