Default Center console compatibility

Does anyone know what if anything changed about the center console over the model run of the D2, specifically in 2002? (other than colors available).

I thought they were all the same and I've swapped around consoles more times than I can count. But maybe I got lucky ... never really thought about them being different.

I was going to order one on Ebay but the guy doesn't know whether it's from a 2000 or a 2002. Looking at parts diagrams, there's one number before 2002, and another after (for same color, for example Bahama Beige). Ideas?

(Also I do realize / know that D1 consoles are a little different, that's not what I'm inquiring about here)

The earlier ones were painted vs being the actual color of the molded plastic. Style wise they should be the same in the USA as we didn't have the option for stick shifts.

Copy that, thanks, OK so I'm good to grab up order any Bahama Beige console 99-02... which is what I thought! I have noticed that nearly every 99-01 console is thrashed with weird white decaying surface, but the 2002 up to 2004 generally look good. So that's what I'm hoping to swap with. Thank you.
