Center Console Problem
I got my orver a few months back, we installed a new cd player and for some reason the center console resets whenever the car is turned off. this includes the cd player and the clock. my keyless entry also does not work and i have a feeling this is all connected.
has anyone else had this issue? i have check all fuses under steering wheel and under the hood.

The stereo is supposed to be hooked to the ignition AND "memory" or reserve power so that when you turn the key on the stereo comes on but when you turn the key off the stereo holds its memory, like your station presets.
The clock is supposed to have power all the time. It stays on 24/7.
When they installed the stereo they hooked everything up wrong. Take it back and make them correct it. If you installed it then you need to figure out what you did wrong.
I always pay the extra money and have a stereo shop do it with the wire harness adaptor so that they do not cut any factory wires. Cutting wires is a good way o screw things up, and once you cut it there is no going back.
Good luck.

When you say it resets, do you mean you loose all your FM presets etc on the radio ? If so thenyou have the +12v permanent "Live" and +12v ignition live the wrong way round.
Quite often the ISO connectors in "aftermarket" stereos have these 2 wire opposite to a lot of cars. Simply switch them round and it "should" be ok.

If you plan to do anything else to your vehicle, especially yourself, invest in a good repair manual. I carry a Haynes manual with me and it includes all the wiring diagrams you need to avoid making costly mistakes.
